The holiday season is supposed to be a time of happiness and joy.  However, given the declining economy and increase in crime, many in Choloma and the rest of Honduras are suffering. 

To try to do its part to reduce any hardship that its residents may be facing and to spread holiday cheer, Community Artists hosted a Christmas BBQ for Morazán residents. Despite the short notice and business of the holiday season, turnout was high. Nearly 50% of residents attended!

But the BBQ was not the only holiday event. In addition, Morazán’s eCash community organized a Christmas Decoration Contest. The local and online eCash community was very impressed with the results, so much so that people around the world donated money to the entrants!
