Flags fluttered in the breeze, each one a bold symbol of the country’s rich history and resilient spirit. The abundance of flags served as a powerful reminder of the unity and strength that define Honduras. This Independence Day was a celebration of Honduras’ enduring spirit and a reaffirmation of the collective aspirations of its people.

Even the few foreigners residing in Morazán were moved by the sentiments of the day. (https://twitter.com/AlexUgorji_/status/1702734760030904724)

Ciudad Morazán may be the most patriotic city in Honduras— at least judging by flags per hectare!

It’s understandable; living in Bootstrap City (our affectionate nickname for Morazán) has made me fall in love with Honduras too.

Happy Independence Day, Honduras!
